My Russian mail-order bride

This morning I received an email in really broken English from someone claiming to be a 27 year old Russian girl looking to meet an American man. I'm not sure how she would have gotten my email address because I don't remember signing up for any mail-order bride service or anything. It didn't have blatent misspelling, images, ads, offers, or any other tell-tale signs of spam. If it is spam it is the most well-crafted spam I've ever received.

The acquaintance through the Internet is for the first time for me. I have addressed in agency of the international acquaintances at us in city. Me have asked to fill there in the questionnaire. I replied asking if this was for real or some kind of scam and asking how she got my email address and what I got back was this:

I love the nephews and I dream sometime to have same children as they. Now I live one in the one-room apartment. Sometimes it happens me sadly, but I try to be engaged in the hobbies. I very much like to borrow with sports, we sometimes with girlfriends go to sports a hall to be engaged in aerobics, but on it not always there is time. It is a lot of time now, but it probably work borrows from each person so. I very much like to look cinema, especially to look him at a cinema. I sometimes go to a cinema to look interesting film. I'm no expert, but I have watched a lot of Law & Order. You will probably end up killing her.

Of course it's a scam. The end result of the whole scam is that you get convinced to fly to wherever the girl is supposed to be and when you go to "meet" her, a bunch of dudes kidnap you and basically demand your bank account info/money/etc. and hold you hostage until you give it up. Or you get convinced to send money to the female to buy her a plane ticket to come visit you.

But you should ask for more pictures anyway and post them here.

I would bet that this is all real--this is a bit too much effort to go through for a scam. She may be lying about her occupation, but it's hard to say.

I just been receiving mails from this person myself, and I live in Antwerp - Belgium.
The story is the same, the letters are quite the same, just some minor details have been added or changed. Trust me, she will ask you for money, 400 to be exact and she will explain to you that she will need it for her visa and travel pass and other expenses she might have. If u like, I can forward the mails to you where she's asking money.
