Why do people suck?

My website got defaced today. I've never taken much time to worry about the security of my website. I've always relied on luck and obscurity, which really aren't tactics. Now I don't even know what to do to prevent it from happening again. Luckily it didn't seem like any of my stuff was destroyed, not even my main page edited, just a new one put in front of mine. Still though, I have to ask the question, why do people do things like that?

What does someone get out of messing with my computer? I say the same thing for people who cheat at games and some other activities. What is so fundamentally wrong with some people that they get pleasure out of hurting others in this way? I didn't indent to make my website all that secure. It isn't a challenge. You aren't cool or talented or 133t or anything like that, why do you think you are? Honestly, is there anyone out there who gives any respect to people like website defacers, spamers, crackers, or vandals? What do they do it for then? What is the attaction and the prestige in something that I can't even imagine other people who do it respect? Sometimes I wish that all stupid people like that would just be gone. Humanity is wasted on them, and they really don't deserve to be able to perpetuate their genes. There are explainations of crimes like robbery, assult, rape, murder, and genocide, even though there is of course no excuse for these much more terrible acts, but I can't even imagine any explaination why someone would want to be a petty nusaince like the things I'm talking about. I say either be completely evil so that we can lock you up, or stop bothering people and be a productive member of society. I know that seems kind of harsh, but the way I feel right now just seems to warrent that level of hyperbole.

So i googled, "why do people suck" and this came up, not really what i was lookin for, but just adds to the reason for why people suck. I honestly dont get how people feel better by making other peoples stuff worse, doesn't really make sense..

If you ever read this, well my question to you is, why is it that whenever you think things are going good, you think that you made some really cool friends and this something changes and well, people suck...nough said

Thats so crumby. Funny thing is I just googled why do people suck and came up with this site as well. I sometimes just wonder how people make it to a rip age like 3o or 35 or 40 and still dont have a clue about how to treat people. I also wonder if people ever examin their lives enough to improve as a person enough to be likable? For example a large portion of teens are self centered and so on. I just wonder if the grown-ups I encounter just never grew as people from that point. Anywho I digress ha! But sadley people really can suck in a large crap way!

People who suck are almost always people who are insecure. They don't feel good about themselves so they like to make others miserable as well. This is how they make themselves feel better. It's the same way that some people eat or shop when they're depressed. They have the mentality of " If I can't be happy, than no one can be happy." The best thing to do is not to let them bother you. They want to get under your skin, so they can't win at they're little game if you refuse to play. Or, you can punch them in the mouth, sometimes that works too.

WHY DO PEOPLE SUCK?

I just googled this question as well! I am so sick and tired of people treating other people badly including me. I am as nice as I can be when I can be and everyone else is selfish, demeaning, cheap and clueless. I am so depressed about this. I see it more and more everyday. Can it be just be here in New York City? I hope so, because I can't wait to move out of this greedy and superficial city. Not to offend anyone, but I am a born and bred New Yorker.

Why people suck: My take.

Here's the thing we all need to realize. Not everyone sucks. Certain people MAY suck. Even in that case, certain peole who suck in your eyes may not suck in mine. I therefore propose Idea #1: People suck because we are all different.

Idea #2 stems from this and proposes simply that people suck because of the choices we make and the paradigms we hold. Decisions people make are directly affected by what they believe. What you view as a belief system may be entirely different from what another person does. Where as you value ethics and morals in your dealings with people, someone else may value anarchy and chaos. When you have this kind of dramatic conflict of paradigm / choicemaking, you get two people who likely think the other sucks. Where as he's thinking you suck for being so straight in your daily dealings and wanting to teach you a lesson by throwing your website a curveball, you think he sucks because of his crooked dealings with you and you probably want to teach him a lesson by getting the law to fix his little red wagon. Even if you're thinking more along the lines of street justice, JUSTICE... getting EVEN... is more of what you're after.

The most important thing to remember when you start becoming fed up with people is simply this: YOU ARE ONE OF THEM. The only thing that separates you from the person or people who is / are pissing you off are your paradigms. The only thing that is keeping you from becoming carbon copies of them are the beliefs you hold and the choices you make.

Yep...People just plain suck

I don't know why, but we do. I'm waiting for God to pull the plug on us. I saw this a-hole's profile with multiple animated gifs of dogs being killed and tortured and I hate him for being such a prick that he thought it was cool to do that and I hate all the bastards who did those things to the dogs in the first place and I hate myself for hating people but I can't help it because people suck so much.

Sorry I can't fix it or offer some kind of solace. But I agree with your opinion.
